Homes and Gardeners Expo 2026 Opens in Kampala.

The Homes and Gardeners Expo 2026 officially opened on 5 September and will run until 6 September, bringing together close to 100 exhibitors from across the housing, construction, banking, interior design, landscaping, technology and sustainable-living sectors.

Held under the theme “Access to Sustainable and Quality Living,” the Expo provides a dynamic marketplace where homeowners, developers, investors and industry professionals can discover innovative products, practical solutions and emerging trends transforming modern living.

Opening the Expo, Hon. Diana Mutasingwa emphasised the importance of making quality housing and essential services accessible to more Ugandans.

“Sustainable and quality living must not remain a privilege for a few. It should be an achievable aspiration for every household, supported by responsible construction, accessible financing and partnerships that respond to the needs of our growing population,” Hon. Mutasingwa said.

Dr. Edwin Musiime, Chairman of the Homes and Gardeners Expo, described the event as an action-oriented platform connecting consumers with the businesses, technologies and ideas shaping the future of homes and cities.

“This Expo is about moving from aspiration to access. We are bringing the entire housing and lifestyle ecosystem together so that families can discover better, smarter and more sustainable ways of building, financing and improving their homes,” Dr. Musiime said.

The two-day showcase features building materials, housing finance, property development, renewable-energy solutions, furniture, home appliances, interior décor, gardening and smart-home technologies.

The Expo also creates valuable opportunities for business networking, consumer education, partnerships and investment, while reinforcing the need for affordable, resilient and environmentally responsible living solutions across Uganda and the wider region.
